Storm begins to mature as updraft towers explode while I arrive into Overlang Ridge to spot the storm.

Absolutely breathaking explosive updraft structure as the storm intensifies, and reaches hights of 61 thousand feet! I take an incredible timelapse, which is arguably my most viral piece of content as of February 2026.

Anvil has now fully developed on top as the updraft reached equilibrium.

Another updraft begins to split off of the main storm and traval northward (to the left of the frame).
