Storm of The Year:
Rare intense anticyclonic supercell developing by itself and moving into the KCK suburbs with large hail, severe RFD winds, a 70 DBZ core with a hail-spike, and impressive structure. Also resulted in my first practice field deployment during my bike career.
Destructive MCS in Kansas and Missouri producing intense lightning, shelf structure, a landspout east of KC, high winds including a severe outflow intercept, and a practice field deployment.
Wild severe thunderstorm cluster with extreme outflow winds during an accidental outflow intercept with flying dust plumes, hail, intense positive lightning, runaway recycling bins, and falling powerlines. Also got a practice deployment.
"String of Pearls" supercell initiation with amazing updraft, anvil, and virga structure during a Fall tornado outbreak in Missouri.
Incredible lava-like sunset lightning show with elevated silhouette dryline thunderstorms.
