ORAL HISTORIES

An emerging project for the History & Heritage group is to obtain first-hand records of the military experiences of some of our members. The project began in 2018 after our H&H group received some general training from the AMaGA* group in collecting and maintaining items of memorabilia of all types and media – audio recordings was one of those types. Our group has had a number of different aspects related to the curation of our collection and the 'oral histories' component has been on the sidelines, but not forgotten, for a number of years.
