Each team may consist of up to 6 people and they must remain at their table during each round.  Participants must be at least 13 years of age.  Participants aged 13-17 must have a guardian, or a proxy guardian, present.

This is a fundraiser please bring cash with you.  We will accept credit cards, but cash is quicker, easier and cuts out the middleman (who gets a percentage).

All phones & electronic devices will be placed in a basket on the table during the round, they may be used during breaks only. Should it be necessary for you to use your phone during a round, you may leave the room and will not be permitted re-entry until the end of that round.

There will be 3 rounds. 1st and 2nd rounds consist of questions 1-10 that are worth 1 point each, and the 11th question is worth 2 points. 3rd round consists of questions 1-10 that are worth 1 point each, and the 11th question (which is the final question of the evening) is a harder question that your team can wager between 1 and 10 points (not to exceed your score). If you answer incorrectly, you will lose that many points. The topic of the final question will be revealed before you place your wager.

All answers will be written on your team’s answer sheet and promptly turned in to the judges for tally at the end of each round. Score updates will be provided between each round and before the final question. Before beginning the next round, the trivia host will review the answers to the previous round.

No partial credit will be awarded. Your answer is either correct or incorrect. Correct spelling on the answer sheets is not required unless indicated; however, answers must be legible, and the judges must easily be able to recognize your answers. Judges will not ask for clarification. More than one answer per question will automatically be scored as incorrect unless it is a multi-answer question or the team is using a Mullagain*.

*Mulligan: A mulligan allows a team to submit two answers for a single question in the hope that one of their answers is the correct one. Mulligans may be purchased before the start of each round, 5 for $20.  Mulligans are played by affixing a mulligan sticker next to the two answers on the round’s score sheet.

Multiple Choice Cheats: A multiple choice cheat may be purchased before the start of each round or during a round.  Each multiple choice cheat is $5.

The teams with the highest final scores will be awarded the cash prizes at the conclusion of the evening. In the event of a tie for 1st, 2nd, or 3rd place after the final question, there will be a short tie-breaker round that will be answered by just those teams involved in the tie until the tie is broken.

If 10 teams or less register one grand  prize of $300 will be awarded, if 11-20 teams register, there will be one prize of $300 for first place and $200 for second place!  if 21 or more teams register, three prizes will be awarded.  $300 for first place, $200 for second, and $120 for third!

Lighting 50/50 rounds: For those star players at the table, five (5) pre-disclosed thematic “knock out” games will be offered throughout the event.  An individual participant may buy-in the mini-event for $10, but only 15 lives will be sold per round. To increase your survival rating, you may buy multiple lives. You will be asked a series of questions. You lose a life if you answer a question incorrectly.  If not all tickets are sold at the start of the round and you are eliminated, you may purchase another chance on the spot, but be quick. Once the next question starts, you may not re-enter.

The judges committee has the final say on any disputed answers. All decisions of the judges are final.
