Erin Martin joined the Lions club in the spring of 2018 and is currently serving as a board of director for the club.  She coordinates the ice cream and soda stand at the annual fair and organizes the club's sandwich fundraiser.  “I joined the Mercersburg Lions Club because I want to assist in revitalizing the park,” said Martin.  Volunteers serving together for event success and planning for the park's future are what Martin identifies as the benefits of being a member.  “Serving with others for the benefit of others is gratifying.  Anyone wishing to serve the Mercersburg community should become involved, without volunteers the park and services the Lions provide to the community will diminish,” said Martin. 

She is a full time Technology Education teacher at James Buchanan High school and resides in the Mercersburg area with her Husband Matt and two boys (Mitchell-16 and Mason-12).  Matt and the boys also volunteer with the club.  Additionally Erin enjoys being outdoors, from water sports and gardening to snowboarding and hunting; fresh air and sunshine make her happy.
