Magento 2 Distance Based Shipping helps the admin to create a custom shipping method in which the shipping charges are calculated based on the unit distance between the warehouse and customer’s delivery location.

E-commerce businesses many times lose customers because of higher shipping charges or unmanaged and improper shipping charges as the customers do not prefer to spend high amounts for shipping the product.

It would be more convenient if the store charges shipping rates based on distance. Therefore, Meetanshi has developed the Magento 2 Distance Based Shipping extension that allows to take different shipping charges based on location.

You can charge more to the customers having 10 kms away location from your warehouse. Similarly, you can charge less to the customers having 5 kms away location from your warehouse.

The module uses Geocode API that offers the geocoding and reserves geocoding of addresses.
