Brightspace 2 — (Notes) Shot Types, Camera Angles & Camera Movement continued
Session 2 — Tour of UL Library Makerspace, key video equipment
Brightspace 3 — (Video) Video Sharing, File Transfer & Storage
Session 3 — Project planning, Filming Interviews - Composition, Audio, Lighting, Interview Questions
Brightspace 4 — (Notes/Video) Editing software options, editing basics
Session 4 — Editing best practice for text, transitions, audio & effects, documentary specific.
Brightspace 5 — (Video) Using external hard drives with the UL Mac Lab, DaVinci & Final Cut Pro, formatting. (Notes) Export settings for final project.
Grading:
30% Participation and 70% Final project — 3-5min ethnographic recording/interview, plus a research website.
Submission Deadline: Mon Dec 18th, midnight.
