Since social medias beginning it has affected people's lives, such as some getting overly attached or unhealthily obsessed with online media. On the contrary social media is a way to connect and socialize over distance, thus leading us to study the effects each person has with it.
The social media addiction quiz showed me that I have a healthy relationship with social media overall, I do think this is accurate because of my recognition of my lessened social media Prescence.
I believe this statistic relates to me best because personally political expression is most important especially now, so it caught my eye when finding this statistic to include. I find it interesting about half of the users relay on social media for social issues, proving it's quite importance.

Personally, I believe social media shouldn't exist, I think about the 80's and 90's when people could only call and socializing was necessary. I think we would all be better connected and given more opportunities to obtain life skills to speak and talk rather than dissocialize and disappear, there are many studies and cases of people unhealthily attached to social media and relying on it for gratification and opinions of others. Social media now is more prone to group people and cause opposition between these groups rather than positive interactions, it encourages comparison and yearning for unrealistic behaviors and can take all the joy out of our personal day to day lives. I believe it's made everyone reliant, for emotions, thoughts, ideas, guidance, and I think its unneeded.
