Larry Dean McDonald

Pamela Annette McDonald Holley -  (1964- ) -  b. Copiah Co MS. 

Kevin Dean McDonald -  (1966 -  ) b. Callaway County MO. Married to Mary Pezold. 

Larry was born on September 26, 1941 in Callaway County, MO to Clarence Ray (CR) McDonald and Kathryn (Kresl) McDonald. 

Larry attended a one-room schoolhouse north of Mokane, then a local Mokane school unti the late 1950s when the South Callaway School District was formed and the small schools combined with the previous Mokane High School at the current location north of Mokane.

Larry joined the Air Force on October 17. 1960 at 19 years old. He would be stationed in Crystal Springs, MS, where he met Patricia. They would marry and he would serve in St. Louis, Texas, and California. 

Larry was discharged from the Air Force on October 16, 1964. 

During the summer of 1976, Larry was serving his commitment to the Reserves in Nevada when he reported a pain in his side. Mom answered the phone and was told he was being flown to California for medical attention. She flew out there and kids stayed at Aunt Kay's house. Diagnosis was luekemia.  Eventually, he was transported to Columbia, MO to the VA Hospital. 

Treatments and then experimental trials at the VA Hospital.

Larry Dean, died on July 20, 1978, at their home on Route H in Fulton, MO. Pat, the children, and family members were present.
