MAVR has a bunch going on and we would like as many of you to participate as possible. Some details are still not set, as you can imagine being a new SIG we are pioneering some of these activities. But I wanted to give everyone a general heads up to what we have planned.
MAVR SIG Showcase and SIG General Meeting
We are having a 90 session with a dual purpose. To introduce the SIG and our members to each other, and to showcase some of our projects/research to date. Here are the particulars.

We are renting a space to have a few drinks and play some VR/AR games. It will be on Saturday night after the MAVR SIG Showcase - More coming on that soon.

Partnership Booth

Cengage learning is partnering with us to create an AR experience to showcase their TED textbook line. I have been hard at work on the software and I have included some MAVR easter eggs! The booth will be next to reception on the first floor, so please go by and mention how cool it is so they ask us to do it again!
