Since the age of two, I have always loved to read and write. My love for reporting and writing grew as I approached my pre-teen years when I began to read sports articles on ESPN and The Score. Once I got to high school, I knew that with the combination of english and journalism, reporting and writing would become my career. My sophomore and senior english teachers had the biggest impact on my writing as they pushed me out of my comfort zone and showed me that there was more to write on than just personal narratives. In journalism, I have written pieces on the people that make Oxford High School unique such as our O-ZONE student section, who was recently named the number one student section in the state and Dr. Dana Bullard, the new principal at OHS. These writings give people on the outside a look into the pride of Charger Nation.
