The Ontario curriculum is a series of documents which set out the learning expectations for Ontario students. Ontario curriculum documents are divided by subject, and the learning expectations for each subject are further subdivided by grades and strands.
The Ontario math curriculum was updated in 2020 with new content and in a new format. The Grade 1-8 curriculum is now the first to be available in a digital website format whereas prior curriculum documents have only been available as hard copies and PDFs. The 2020 curriculum can also be found as a PDF here.
The new (2020) Ontario math curriculum for Mathematics is divided into two parts: curriculum context and curriculum expecations (by grade).
The "curriculum context" section (see also PDF version) includes:
Background information about the design and goals of the curriculum
Roles and responsibilities of various stakeholders in education
Explanatory information about the structure and content of the curriculum itself
A description of 7 key mathematical processes engrained in all of the strands
Information about instructional practices and assessment & evaluation strategies in mathematics
The "grades" section is where the overall and specific curriculum expectations can be found. Teachers use this section to plan instruction, assessment, and evaluation. However, the MPT pedagogy component only includes information from the "curriculum context" portion of the 2020 math curriculum (Source).

On June 9 2021, the Ministry of Education announced that the Grade 9/10 Math curriculum is being changed.
The MPT website indicates that the test covers content from "The pages preceding the expectations of The Ontario Curriculum, Grades 9 and 10: Mathematics, 2005 document". For the time being, we have accordingly only covered the 2005 document in this module. If the MPT is updated to reflect the new 2021 curriculum, this site will be updated accordingly. We presume that any changes to the content of the MPT will be shared on the MPT site directly, so please check there first for updates and news.
