According to the MPT website, the pedagogy component of the test includes 21 questions and is based on the following ministry policy documents:

• Growing Success: Assessment, Evaluation, and Reporting in Ontario Schools - First Edition, Covering Grades 1 to 12 (2010)
  (43% = 9 Questions on MPT)

• Learning for All: A Guide to Effective Assessment and Instruction for All Students, Kindergarten to Grade 12 (2013)
  (43% = 9 Questions on MPT)

• The Ontario Curriculum Grades 1-8: Mathematics – Curriculum Context, 2020 and the pages preceding the expectations of The Ontario Curriculum, Grades 9 and 10: Mathematics, 2005 document
  (14% = 3 questions on MPT)
