In 2020-2021, I worked as a bilingual program coordinator at Kandelia, a non-profit dedicated to supporting immigrant and refugee students and their families.
As part of a community-based project, I led and supervised an online magazine centered around the voices of Vietnamese high school youth. The magazine featured personal stories with themes on self-care, positivity, and living in quarantine as a Vietnamese youth during Covid-19.
The magazine was released in the summer of 2021 and presented to the local community and a City of Seattle representative.
Physical copies were printed and distributed to the youth, their families, and our Kandelia community.
