One topic that caught my attention was the 4th Industrial Revolution. The 4th Industrial Revolution had me exploring artificial intelligence and how technology was everchanging. My research and focus address some of these elements of the 4th Industrial Revolution and how this impacts learning among people. In the course ISDT 7315, I created a web application to solve the problem of Newton Gresham Library navigation. It sounds so futuristic: a web app that learns as you research to aim in providing searches based on your common use of words. AI could possibly enhance this web application to learn with you. Could AI possibly replace humans? Foremost, I am reminded that AI will not take over the world because there is a need for creativity, emotional intelligence, and innovation.
