Kuya Jun is a passionate organic farmer who left behind the fast-paced life of Metro Manila in 2007 to start a healthier, more grounded lifestyle in the upland areas of Antipolo, Rizal. Since then, he has dedicated his life to cultivating the land in Purok Seedling, Sitio San Joseph, Brgy. San Jose.
With roots in the community and a deep respect for nature, Kuya Jun believes in farming that’s good for the body and the environment. In March 2024, he proudly completed his training in Organic Agriculture Production at TESDA OAP, further deepening his knowledge and commitment to sustainable farming.
He now spends his days tending to his crops, caring for his livestock, and cooking homegrown merienda for nearby communities—bringing farm-fresh goodness straight to the people.
Nestled on an upland slope, the Jun Quindong Bamboo Farm is a small but thriving farm filled with love, hard work, and intention. Named after the wild bamboo that surrounds the area, and now carrying Kuya Jun’s name, the farm reflects his deep personal connection to the land.
The farm grows a mix of fruit-bearing trees like langka, avocado, mango, milk fruit, banana, pomelo, calamansi, lemon, and santol. It also supports a variety of vegetables and high-value crops grown for family consumption. On the livestock side, Kuya Jun raises chickens and pigs, and prepares delicious homemade lechon and merienda using ingredients straight from his farm.
The farm operates fully on organic practices—aligned with Kuya Jun’s values of health and sustainability. Though small, every harvest is nurtured with care, and any extra produce is shared or sold to friends and supporters in the local area.
