In the year 2003 we acquired this land here in Kaysakat 1 Brgy. San Jose, Antipolo City in Rizal. This land is entire plain and there are only few trees planted here under the supervision of DENR. Since then we decided to establish an organization named Makalikasang Samahan ng Kaysakat (MASAKAT) with a total land area of 42 hectare.
Rizalie G. Galang is one of the founders who establish the association to join the DENR’s National Greening Program project. They planted different native trees in the area such as Nara, Mahogany, Batino, Kariskis, Kupang and various fruit bearing trees. In 16th day of April 2013, we members who live here in the entire 2.46 hectare decided to have our own organization named under Marikina Watershed Kaysakat Association (MARIWSKA) Inc.
MARIWSKA Inc, is a non-profit organization with an official address in Sitio Kaysakat 1 Brgy. San Jose, Antipolo City in Rizal Province, headed by its president, Mrs. Rizalie G. Galang.
