Welcome to my Personalized Learning Portfolio!

My name is Marissa Brown and I currently pursuing my M.Ed in Instructional Technology and Personalized Learning Endorsement at Kennesaw State University. Prior to Kennesaw State University, I graduated from Chico State University with a Bachelor's degree in Liberal Studies and Natural Studies and received my teaching credential from Sacramento State University, both in California.

Immediately after graduation, I began my journey as a certified educator in California serving seventh-grade students in science. In 2019 I moved to Georgia and currently continuing to teach as an eighth-grade physical science teacher. I plan on applying to be an Instructional Technology Innovation Specialist (ITIS) for Gwinnett County following my graduation date and the 2023-2024 school year. I am eager to continue advocating and supporting the diverse learners in my classroom and enhancing my teaching pedagogy with an emphasis on technology.

The purpose of this electronic portfolio is to share a series of artifacts and experiences that demonstrate my mastery of the GSC Standards of Practice for PL (PL Standards).
