Since Spanish is my native language, I challenged myself with an elevated-pace video. The topic discussed in it is enticing to me because I love the film. I did not expect the difficulty of this parroting exercise. Bayona, the director, speaks so fast that I almost lost my breath. However, the most problematic part was the technological aspect of the recording. I made multiple videos that I was happy with, but when I saw them, I was disappointed with the audio. Without headphones, my voice could not be heard; with wired earbuds, there was a distortion of the sound; and with wireless headphones, I could present this final version that I am proud of. To sum up, the equipment used can elevate or degrade the work of an interpreter. Therefore, investing in them is fundamental.
