With this first optional project on an international news story, I realized how difficult it is to translate and interpret without basic knowledge of the subject. For instance, I had never heard about the role of Jimmy Cherizier in the Haitian crisis. Due to this, I struggled to keep up with the new information that was emitted every second. The reporter also spoke quickly; so it was more difficult than my previous project. I had to practice and check the volume of my voice and the reporter's because I wanted both to be heard. Finally, I used Zoom to record this video.
