I was born and raised in Utah, and I graduated from Delta High School. In 2020, I received my BA in English Education with a minor in Spanish from UVU. I lived in southern Spain for a couple years after high school, so I speak Spanish and I love Mediterranean food and Spanish culture. My wife and I have one daughter and a baby boy. Some of my interests and hobbies include literature, candle-making, musical theater, board games, traveling, food, graphic design, track and field, weightlifting, and everything in between! I just love new experiences and learning.
I also love teaching! In high school I started a community children's theater and directed two musicals with the company: Pirates of Penzance and Willy Wonka. I taught religion and English while I was in Spain, and when I came home I worked with troubled teenagers at a home for boys in the west desert of Utah. I'm very excited to be at Payson High. This year I am teaching English 11, English 11 Honors, Latinos in Action, and I'm the head coach for the girls Track and Field team. Go Lions!
