Relationships & Communication

Overview:

Appropriate online communication and relationships entails that students develop an awareness of "how to build positive relationships, avoid risky online talk, and understand why some topics and conversations can best lend themselves to certain mediums" (Common Sense Media). The focus of online communication and relationships in this class will help students be able to analyze various online audiences and communicate appropriately, as well as develop an overall civil online etiquette with others. We will practice this by communicating with each other online and publishing writing and videos online with specific purposes and audiences in mind.
