Digital Footprint & Identity refers to an awareness of our digital persona and how it affects "one's sense of self, reputation, and relationships" (Common Sense Media). In my classes, this knowledge is essential. We will interact as a classroom community online and with students from other school. Likewise, students will have opportunities to build and create blogs to publish their writing and reflections, as well as create videos that can be uploaded to media outlets such as YouTube. Being aware of one's online reputation and digital footprint is becoming increasingly necessary in our digital world, and this class will help increase this awareness in students.
