Use of Library Space
A library space is a room or a space that is intended for instructional, research, and interaction within the library. It can also be used to hold meetings, for issues to be discussed, priorities set and decisions made. The following guidelines and procedures are to be followed to ensure the proper use of the facility:
Reservation can be made for the use of library space by accomplishing a request form.
Request form will be processed and subject for approval of the librarian-in-charge.
Once the request is approved, the requester will receive confirmation of space reservation.
Use of library space is free and limited to small group only or a maximum of 10 persons but can be reduced depending on the library capacity to avoid overcrowding.
Failure of the requesting group to come on scheduled date will have their request forfeited.
Bringing of foods or drinks is not allowed.
Smoking is not allowed inside the library.
Cleanliness and orderliness should be observed at all times.
Observe care in handling and using library materials, furniture, fixtures, and equipment.
Any losses or damages to materials, furniture, fixtures, and equipment during their stay will be the responsibility of the requesting group.
Speak/discuss in a low voice to avoid disruption to other library users.
The library space is available from Monday thru Friday from 8:00 am to 4:00 pm.
During pandemic, library space will only accommodate 50% or a maximum of 5 persons.
Health protocols such as social distancing, wearing of face mask or shield, and proper hand hygiene should be observed.
