BORROWING OF BOOKS (OPEN SHELVES)
Books available to be borrowed are fiction only.
Client should come to the library and select books they will borrow from the shelves. Fiction is arranged and shelved alphabetically according to the author's last name. A special designator (FIC) is added above the author's last name to show that the materials are fiction.
Client should present identification card upon entering the library. Fill-in necessary information on the Library Barrower's Card with signature and a recent picture.
Give back the filled-in Barrower's Card to the Library staff or Librarian at the Circulation Counter for proper issuance and stamping of due date.
A maximum of three (3) books at a time can be borrowed for a period of one (1) week and renewable for another week.
Upon leaving the library, present books borrowed to the Staff assigned at the control desk.
Return books on time. Since the Library is not charging fines for overdue books, habitual delay in returning the is subject to suspension of library privileges.
To return books, present Borrower's Card for counter-checking and signing. Be sure that the Borrower's Card is countersigned by the Staff or Librarian before leaving.
CHECKING-IN / RETURNING BOOKS
Present books to be returned.
Place the books on the book truck or reading table.
ID or Library Card will be returned once transaction is completed.
