'I Still Wanna Know’ brings us back towards Maggie’s singer-songwriter, folk roots with a confessional song about missing something you shouldn’t. Specifically modelled on Stevie Smith’s retelling of the myth of Persephone, the song explores ideas of good and bad, when the singer is drawn more to the bad than the good. The autumnal colour palette brings us into the world Persephone finds herself in once a year: on the precipice between the mortal world and the underworld.
