'Glass Ceiling' is the second single from Maggie's upcoming EP, 'Ekphrasis',  a concept project inspired by female figures in Renaissence art. Glass Ceiling, taking inspiration from Ophelia’s scene of madness in Shakespeare’s “Hamlet”, explores ideas around abandonment, heartbreak and the emotional toll that being let down continually takes. With an energetic chorus of thick harmonies and lush guitar strums, synth interjections and a lyrical structure echoic of Gracie Abram’s songwriting, the song is deeply personal to Maggie, and her favourite on the EP.
