Week 3 A course in GeoGebra
What have you learnt?
Using the computer layer in a human stance to learn Geogebra basics has been a transformative experience for me.
The interactive nature of the software has allowed me to visualize abstract mathematical concepts in a tangible way.
Through dynamic geometry constructions, graphing functions, and data analysis, I have gained a deeper understanding of mathematical relationships and patterns.
The ability to manipulate objects and observe real-time changes has enhanced my problem-solving skills and critical thinking abilities. Geogebra has truly bridged the gap between theoretical knowledge and practical application, making the learning process both engaging and meaningful. 😙
Group Task: Simulation for the prove of doubled angle formula
The Geogebra course by Dr. Ku has been instrumental in developing my teaching lesson on the change of double angled formula in mathematics. By incorporating Geogebra, we can create interactive visualizations that make the concept come alive for my students.
Using Geogebra, we can dynamically demonstrate the step-by-step transformation of the double angled formula. Students can actively engage with the virtual manipulations, adjusting angles and observing the resulting changes in real-time. This hands-on approach not only captures their interest but also deepens their understanding of the topic.
Furthermore, Geogebra allows me to provide personalized learning experiences. we can tailor the lesson to accommodate different learning styles and paces. Students can explore the concept at their own speed, experimenting with various inputs and discovering patterns. This level of interactivity fosters a sense of ownership over their learning and encourages them to delve deeper into the mathematics.
The Geogebra course by Dr. Ku has empowered me to create engaging and captivating math lessons. By leveraging the power of visualization and interactivity, my students are not only more interested in math but also find it more accessible and enjoyable.
