I regularly find myself with a strong desire to help in times of need, and this period of the coronavirus pandemic is no different. Unfortunately, since I am a second-year medical student, I am unable to be on the front lines working to care for patients. Instead, I am focusing my efforts on doing what I can on the sidelines to help our community and support the battle against COVID-19. Being involved with Macon Strong gives me a sense of purpose in this time of uncertainty, fear, and social distancing. I look forward to helping highlight the great assistance that this group is providing.
