2025 BROADCASTER OF THE YEAR!
Over the last few years, I have been fortunate enough to been given some really special experiences to showcase my work on the professional level.
Through all four years in high school, our Baseball program has played a game at Coors Field hosted by the Rockies to open up the high school season. My freshman year, I worked with my Baseball coach to reach out the Rockies to setup a space for us to broadcast in the press box at Coors Field. That connection allowed me to get the opportunity to broadcast at Coors Field my Sophomore, and Junior year as well. My senior year, I decided to take a slightly different route, as my Baseball coach had asked me to be the Public Address announcer for our Coors Field game. I gladly accepted the offer, and I don't regret it. During my time announcing at Coors Field, I got to make some invaluable connections with the RockiesVision (Rockies in stadium entertainment/broadcast) crew. I met the stadium's head AV engineer, a handful of videographers, and the show director for the Rockies. We exchanged contact information and I am currently working on setting up my first opportunity to work with the Rockies.

Another professional opportunity I was given was to design and create the in-stadium digital graphics for the Denver Onyx at Infinity Park in Glendale, CO.
The Denver Onyx is a professional Women's elite Rugby team that is in their inaugural season. So far this season they are ranked number ONE in the Women's Elite Rugby standings and have had the reputation of beating their opponents easily by over 50 points.
My responsibility with the Onyx came up during their home opener, when Infinity Park's executive director noticed that the team hadn't provided any graphics to put on on our video board in the stadium. So, the opportunity presented itself, and I began putting together a sample graphics package for the board. Instantly, they fell in love with it! They proceeded to ask me if I could create the graphics for the match the following week.
The following week, the Infinity Park team got a call from the international director of operations with the WER league. I was told that he complimented my work heavily, and loved my design skills. Scroll down to see the graphics in action!!!
Here are a handful of the designs made for the ribbon board in the stadium. It was a fun challenge trying to work with the complex 4560x72 resolution. Featured is a vs. matchup graphic, a "Onyx Win!" graphic, several sponsor graphics, a "Get Loud!" graphic, and team score graphics (Try +5 & It's Good +2).
