During this task I have learnt the importance of how my website is displayed and designed and that I need something that doesn't pop out with colours everywhere and the need for a specific pattern layout on each slide is very important so that the more people that see my portfolio will remember what it looks like and what the main colours used on the website were.

This task fit in nicely with developing my understanding of how important these types of structures of pattern recognition and colour combinations can relate to the game industry as most games will use the same layouts so that people easily recognise their game with this being things such as the same layout in the locker as in the shop.

My experience from this session allowed me to figure out the best ways in order to design a website that is aesthetically pleasing for the viewer whilst still making it look professional and unique as before this task my website was not unique and so therefore by doing this task it has allowed me to create a unique experience for the viewer of the website and so by doing this it will keep them wanting to see what I have to offer.

During this session I changed the background colour of my website to black so that any text can easily be read, as well as this I decided to change my banner which used to be a bright blue with white text to a simple black and red text as red seems to really stand out in the black background and as well as this I decided to add a small logo in the top left of the website that is the same as the text on the banner as this will allow people to recognise the similarities the change of the banner was also important as before the blue and white combo doesn't really fit well due to them almost blending together as they are both really light colours.
