I think that it can definitely be improved however I think as my first time doing this it isn't too bad. I could probably improve this by making it have some more complex details such as vents. I made sure to remove any ngon's and made sure that nothing has more than 4 sides.

I also made sure to add bevels which rounds the object so that it is easier to work with.
To improve this work I could make it more simple and not as complex which I will try and attempt another time as I feel like the more simple shapes would be used more.

The thing I most struggled with was just navigating around Maya as it is my first time using it.

Using the program xNormal I was able to bake my 3D extruded model into .PNG files so that they can be used as texture maps for things such as the floor that characters will walk on. Baking can significantly enhance scene realism and improve rendering performance.
The first picture which looks more colourful is for ambient occlusion. and the image to the right is the normal map that will be used for the floor.

Coke can made in 15 minutes. Lighting isn't very bright so the can looks a bit dark. The base can model is pretty similar to an actual coke can
