Unit Theme: Traveling and Exploration

Language Level: Intermediate teens

Length: 2 Lessons (90 minutes each)

In this unit, students will work with the following language points:

• Travel and culture-related vocabulary (landmark, festival, custom, cuisine)

• Adjectives for description (exotic, traditional, unique, crowded, sacred)

• Present simple (“People eat…”, “The festival takes place in…”)

• Expressions of frequency/general truth (“usually,” “often,” “in general”)

Brief description: 

In today's globalized world, we have the opportunity to learn about other cultures from the comfort of our seats. In this WebQuest, students will explore different cultures from all around the globe and create an infographic as a final product.
