Educaplay is an online platform that allows educators to design interactive learning activities, promoting gamification in the educational process. This tool enables the creation of exercises such as crosswords, word searches, interactive maps, and memory games, among others, incorporating multimedia resources such as images, audio, and video (Miaulatec, 2021).
Educaplay offers a wide variety of activities that allow teachers to incorporate game-like dynamics into their instruction, fostering more dynamic and participatory learning (Polo del Conocimiento, 2023).
Benefits ✅
User-friendly interface: Educaplay's UI is intuitive, so any person with or without experience creating digital interactive resources can start creating right away.
Engaging for students: Students (especially younger ones) often find digital games/teaching resources more engaging than printed activities.
Supports multimedia (audio, video, images): To make the content easier to digest and activities more interactive, teachers can add videos, images and even audio to quizes or games on Educaplay.
Drawbacks❌
Limited Free Features: Free features are rather limited, and certain advanced features are restricted to paid plans.
Requires Constant Internet Access: Students need to access the internet to create and execute activities, which can be a barrier in contexts with limited connectivity.
Basic Game Mechanics: The variety of game mechanics you can use is limited and the games tend to be very similar, only changing the "theme"
Invasive Ads in the Free Version: The free version of Educaplay shows ads before and during each game, which could be distracting to students.

Tutorial
Open https://www.educaplay.com/ on your browser.
2. Click on the three lines to sign into your account or to create an account.
3. Now that you're logged into your (new) account, you can click on the "new game" button.
4. Choose the game type.
5. I chose the Froggy Jumps game, so just need to briefly describe what I want my game to be about and click enter.
6. The questions/answers will be automatically generated but you can still edit them by adding more questions or deleting existing ones.
7. Once you're done editing your game, you can click on "publish"
8. And that's it! You can now see your game by clicking on the "see activity" button
9. Click on the "start" button to start playing!
