The shepherds hurried into Bethlehem and found Mary, Joseph and the baby. The baby was lying in the manger.
When they had seen him, they spread the word concerning what the angels had said about this child, and all who heard it were amazed at the shepherds' message. The shepherds were able to go back giving glory and praise to God for all they had heard and seen, which all fitted with what the angel had told them.

You might be excited or wary of the prospect of Artificial Intelligence - either way its influence in our lives is going to grow.
The shepherds were given the enormous privilege of seeing Jesus as the new born baby. This was God fully vulnerable in this little baby boy, and also fully real as a baby lying in a makeshift cot! This was no AI generated visual, avatar, or puppet ... but 100% the real deal!
The shepherds could not contain themselves, and took a message of wonder and hope beyond their village and fields. This was Free Speech in action - bringing good news, joy and amazement to all who would hear. It is our desire today that the same good news, joy and amazement can be shared - both here and beyond.
