Our Public Safety Pathway program is dedicated to supporting the literacy development of all students, including those with IEPs and ELLs, by providing accessible materials and targeted support. We create engaging learning experiences that connect literacy skills to real-world public safety scenarios. Through collaboration and ongoing assessment, we ensure all students achieve literacy proficiency and are prepared for careers in public safety.

• All assignments are differentiated to meet the needs of students with disabilities and English Language Learners
• The instructor uses a variety of modalities for each lesson. Throughout students are working individually and in small groups. They have a short lecture period that is enhanced with Ted Talks, online quizzes, Kahoots activities and group projects.
• The instructor stives to create an open space space in which students feel free to express different ideas, opinions and world views and only the highest level of respect for each other is tolerated.
• Students have access to all materials online or in the classroom to complete assignments.
