Equipment used in the training program must be of the type and quality found to provide training to meet the program goals and performance objectives. The facilities must be appropriate for the variety of learning activities which occur in the LPS classrooms.

The classroom is big enough to allow students to sit in individual desks, or work at lab tables for collaborative projects.
Classroom is equipped with sufficient storage for all equipment and additional supplies. Storage has a lock if needed.
The classroom complies with state requirements for instructional spaces. It is clean, organized and well maintained. The space facilitates multiple learning learning formats including individual work, small group and collaborative learning.
The instructor is provided with ample space to plan, grade and complete additional tasks. There is also space for meetings with students and confidential record keeping.

• Appropriate, up-to-date multi-media equipment and hardware such as Smart Boards, speakers, and all students are equipped with one on one laptops.
Classroom is also equipped with 9-1-1 dispatcher headsets, keyboards and manuals. Students have access to facial reconstruction clay skulls.
Appropriate equipment replacement plan is available through the district CTE budget .
Classroom instructional technology is updated as needed and the school technology support technician is available as needed.
Students have adequate technology to meet program goals and prepare students for careers in law enforcement fields.

The classroom is equipped safety equipment including a fire extinguisher and fire alarms. Students participate in fire and other disaster drills throughout the year. Lockdown, fire and earthquake bell sequence is posted in the classroom.
Students participating in all class activities (drunk driving simulations, footprint molding, etc) follow proper school policies for safety.
Accident report policy is available with school office manager.

LPHS has a safety committee that is made up of administration, teachers and other staff to address safety needs of the school.
