My neighbourhood

Hello smarties!

NA POČETKU VAS ŽELIM PODSJETITI DA KADA UĐETE NA NAŠU STRANICU I KLIKNETE GRADE 5, OTVORI VAM SE POČETNA STRANICA GDJE IMATE PUNO LINKOVA I ŽUTIH DUGMIĆA S VJEŽBAMA, TAKO DA IH NE MORATE TRAŽITI PO LEKCIJAMA.

1)    It’s time for Ryan’s neighbourhood 2. First, check if you know these places in town. Click the link and do the task. When you are finished, click the SHOW ANSWERS and the YES button and check your answers. If you want to try again, just click the bin in the top right corner and YES. If you don’t know some of them, write them down into your notebook/dictionary. Klikni poveznicu i napravi zadatak.

2)   Open your notebook and put the title, the date and set the goals for today. (Otvori bilježnicu i stavi naslov, datum i postavi ciljeve za danas.)

                                                                         Ryan’s neighbourhood 2               Friday, 8 May 2020

I can/know:

3)    Now, write this into your notebook (Sada napiši ovo u bilježnicu):

Kod opisivanja prostora jako često koristimo there is/there are.

There is a mouse in my house. U mojoj kući je miš. ☹

There isn’t a mouse in my house. U mojoj kući nije miš. 😊

BUT:

There are two chairs under the stairs. Ispod stepenica su dvije stolice.

There aren’t two chairs under the stairs. Ispod stepenica nisu dvije stolice.

REMEMBER:

Here are more examples. You don’t have to copy them into your notebook, only if you want to (Evo još primjera.

4)    Now practice (sada vježbaj):

5)    You already know how to make questions in present simple; now, we are just going to practise them and make short answers; write this into your notebook (Već znaš raditi pitanja u present simplu, sada ćeš ih samo još vježbati i raditi kratke odgovore; napiši ovo u bilježnicu):

7)  Now, we are ready to make sentences about our neighbourhood. It would be good to revise the words from this lesson and then make sentences (remember to use new words and expressions). Write at least six sentences into your notebook. Here are some examples (Sada smo spremni napraviti rečenice o svom susjedstvu.

My neighbourhood is nice.

There is a park near my house where I walk my dog and play with my family.

There are many trees.

There are two bus stops in my neighbourhood.

There is also a book shop and one big market.

There aren't any office buildings in my neighbourhood and I'm happy about that.

My favourite place in my neighbourhood is the playground where I play football almost every day.

My friend George always asks me: „Do you like your neighbourhood?“. and I answer: „Yes, I do!“

8) And lastly, to see if you have understood today's lesson, fill in this exit slip. The first question you have to answer by clicking a smiley and in the second question, there are three questions and you have to answer them with short answers in the box below the picture (e.g. Yes, I do/ No, we don't...). If you want to change your answers, just click CLEAR. When you are finished, click SUBMIT and you will see this: STUDENT NAME (here you enter YOUR NAME AND THE FIRST LETTER OF YOUR LAST NAME) and CLASS ID (here you enter YOUR CLASS); you can see the example in the picture and SEND. I will not send you the slips back, this is just for me to know what you know after the lesson! Yes, I do/ No, we don't...). Ako želiš promijeniti odgovore, samo klikni CLEAR. Kada završiš, klikni SUBMIT i vidjet ćeš ovo: STUDENT NAME (ovdje upiši svoje ime i prvo slovo prezimena) i CLASS ID (ovdje upiši svoj razred) i SEND.

AND THAT'S IT FOR TODAY 😊 TAKE CARE AND

HAVE FUN!

This is what your notebook should look like and you can add more examples and sentences (Ovako treba izgledati bilježnica, a možeš dodati i još primjera i rečenice koje su gore):
