Levels
Every player starts on 0 LSX and Level 1.
Level 2 requires 1000 LSX.
Each level will require increasingly higher jumps of LSX from the previous level - this jump is capped at 25,000 LSX.
You can use /calclsx <level> to see the LSX required for a certain level.
The iterative formula used for LSX Levels (you don't need to understand this):
LSX needed for Level N = LSX for Level (N - 1) + min[25000, 1000 x (N - 1)].
Rewards
Reaching a Level gives rewards.
You can view your pending rewards using /lsx rewards.
List of all possible rewards:
[All Levels] Coins: you receive 1000 multiplied by the Level for every Level you reach. This is capped at 25,000 coins.
[All Levels] Dungeon Keys: you receive a number equal to the Level for every Level you reach. This is capped at 25 keys.
Special rewards:
You receive one use of a special reward when you unlock it. You can use a command to apply it to an item of your choice.
[Level 5] Yavanna's Hand:
Command: /yavannashand
When harvesting a crop while holding a hoe with the ability, a new crop is automatically replanted using seeds from your inventory. There is also a particle effect, and the hoe is unbreakable.
[Level 10] Adrenaline:
Command: /adrenaline
When wearing a chestplate with the ability, you receive 5 seconds of regeneration II whenever you are attacked by an enemy while you have less than or equal to 4 hearts of health. There is also a sound and particle effect.
[Level 15] Featherweight:
Command: /featherweight
When wearing boots with the ability, you take 50% less fall damage. The ability stacks with the lightfooted LOTR modifier. There is also a sound and particle effect.
[Level 20] Vein Miner:
Command: /veinminer
When mining an ore with a tool with the ability, the entire vein is mined as well. This will cost extra durability, and you need to sneak for the ability to take effect.
[Level 25] Unbreakable:
Command: /unbreakable
Makes any item with durability unbreakable.
[Level 30] Bountiful:
Command: /bountiful
When gaining LSX with any tool or weapon with this ability, you gain double what you normally would.
[Level 35] Orthanc's Flame:
Command: /orthancsflame
When a bolt fired a crossbow with this ability hits something (be it a block or a player), all players, NPCs and mobs in a 3-block radius of where the bolt hit will be damaged and knocked back by an explosion centered at where the bolt hit. Those closer to the centre will experience higher damage.
Explosion sound and particle effects will also be played.
[Level 40] Deflecting:

Some things to note about special rewards:
There are more special items planned for each Level multiple of 5.
After using it on your account, that account will never be able to get another use again - the only way to get the ability on more items is to have other players with a use put it on for you.
Once you put it on an item, there are only two ways to remove it from the item:
Remove it with no refund using the command and then adding remove, e.g. /adrenaline remove
Extract any LSX (and LSC) abilities from an item back into command form, but this will destroy the item in the process and cost LSC. To do this, use /extractabilities
Notifications
Heads-up display (HUD):
Whenever you gain LSX a boss bar will briefly appear, showing your current LSX and Level, and progress to the next level.
It's enabled by default but you can turn it off using /settings LSX_HUD hide
To re-enable it use /settings LSX_HUD showOnUpdate

You will hear the Minecraft XP sound when gaining LSX.
It's enabled by default, and you can toggle it using /settings LSX_SOUNDS
View levels in global chat:
You can see everyone's level as a chat prefix when they speak in global chat.
It's disabled by default, but you can toggle it using /settings VIEW_LEVELS_IN_CHAT
Chat notifications:
Enabling this will send you a chat message whenever you gain LSX.
It's disabled by default, but you can toggle it using /settings LSX_NOTIFICATIONS
LSX Boosters
Server-wide Double LSX Boosters can be bought on the store.
When activated, everyone online will gain double the LSX they would have gained without a Booster.
The purchaser of a Booster can choose to disable 'marketing' - this means nobody else is notified of their Booster, but everyone still gets double LSX.
If you have bought a Booster you can use /booster to view and activate your boosters.
Note that not all methods of gaining LSX are affected by boosters - see the How To Gain LSX section for more details.
Happy Hour
There are certain hour-long periods during the week when you can earn double LSX, amongst other things - see https://sites.google.com/view/lotrsurvival-helpcentre/happy-hour for more information and specific times.
You are notified in the chat when this occurs, and also when you log on during the happy hour.
Technical Notes
You can use /toplsx on the server to see the top 10 players for LSX.
You can use /lsx on the server to see your own LSX, or /lsx <playerName> to see someone else's LSX.
These commands also work in the #server-chat channel of our Discord server.
