Secondary School No. 156

BUCHAREST

In 1884, the primary school from Militari began it’s activities and was dedicated especially to soldier’s children that fought in the independence war. The school functioned in a man’s home from Militari. Today, Secondary School Number 156 has three locations. The location from 1893 was granted to the Veterans of the War Sector 6.

PALACE OF THE PARLIAMENT

The Palace of the Parliament is the seat of the Parliament of Romania. It is the second largest administrative building in the world after The Pentagon.

Constanța historically known as Tomis is the oldest contiously inhabited city in Romania.



Danube Delta is the second largest river delta in Europe, after the Volga Delta, and is the best preserved on the continent. The greater part of the Danube Delta lies in Romania (Tulcea County), while its northern part, on the left bank of the Chilia arm, is situated in Ukraine.

Banat County

Hunedoara,Corvin Castel: It was laid out in 1446.The castle is build on a rock above the small. Zlaşti River. Many refer to it as one of the seven wonders of Romania, and it had a big impact on popular culture .

Bigăr Waterfall, Caraș-Severin The national park Cheile Nerei-Beuşniţa: It was formed by the fall of the Bigăr water spring from a rock bottom in the Miniș River. This area is a natural reserve that is protected by law.The waterfall has 7-8 meters high.




Sibiu (Hermannsdat), Transylvania

Sibiu is a city in Transylvania, Romania. The city straddles the Cibin River, a tributary of the river Olt. Sibiu is one of the most important cultural centeres of Romania and was designated the European Capital of Culture for the year 2007, along with the city of Luxembourg.



Vârciorog Waterfal, Arieșeni

The Vârciorog Waterfall is a tourist attraction on the Arieșul Mare river, located in the Apuseni Natural Park.


Alba Iulia is a city located on the Mureș River in Alba County, Transylvania. Since the High Middle Ages, the city has been the seat of Transylvania's Roman Catholic diocese. Between 1541 and 1690 it was the capital of the Eastern Hungarian Kingdom and the latter Principality of Transylvania. Alba Iulia is historically important for Romanians, Hungarians and Transylvanian Saxons.



Merry Cemetery of Săpânța, Maramureș County

The Merry Cemetery is faimous for it’s colourful tombstones with naive paintings describing the people who are buried there as well as scenes from their lives.




Moldova County

The egg museum, Vama and Moldovita



The Voroneț Monastery is a medieval monastery in the Romanian village of Voroneț, now a part of the town Gura Humorului. It is one of the famous painted monasteries from southern Bukovina, in Suceava County. The monastery was constructed by Ștefan cel Mare to commemorate the victory at Battle of Vaslui.
