Where is our school located?

Our school is located at Ġuże' D' Amato steet in Paola. The small town of Paola is located to the southeast of the Island of Malta and its is named after the Grand Master Antoine de Paule who laid its foundation stone in 1626. The town of Paola has a total area of around 2.5km2 and is about 5km away from the capital city of Valletta. It has a population of around 7,864 inhabitants and boarders with the nearby towns of Cospicua, Fgura, Tarxien, Santa Lucia, Luqa and Marsa.

The town of Paola is famous for the Ħal Saflieni Hypogeum which is one of the UNESCO World Heritage Sites dating back to 3000 B.C., for its beautiful parish church of Christ the King which was consecrated in 1964 and for the town's football club: Hiberians F.C. also known as 'Hibs'.

Paola is also the only town in Malta which hosts a mosque as well as an Islamic Cultural Centre.

Some few meters away from our school there is also another UNESCO World Heritage Site, the Tarxien Megalithic Temples which date back to around 3600 - 2500 BC. This is one of the largest and most complex of the prehistoric sites found in our country. It is home to some of the best known examples of prehistoric art in the world.
