Creating opportunities for people to be with Jesus through music
Our mission as a church is to help everyday people learn how to become Jesus followers. We keep this in mind in all that we do. Specifically, our mission as a music department is to create a musical experience that transcends. Transcends the tough week attenders have had. Transcends their negative health report. Transcends an attenders struggles with sin. The list goes on and on. We want to create music that connects with people. We want to lead them to a different place emotionally and spiritually than they were before they came to the morning service.
Worship leaders have the opportunity to influence the people they are leading. We do this by leading them through a meaningful, joyful, engaging worship experience.

Your Spiritual Health Matters
Worship leaders, song leaders, and musicians alike should all be consistently developing their relationship with Jesus. We encourage each of our team members to engage in regular spiritual habits like Bible reading, silence and solitude, prayer, fasting, giving, and more.
Your Spiritual Health Matters
An excellent worship experience will help keep people engaged. Excellence honors God and those we are leading. Being excellent means showing up on time for rehearsal, being fully prepared, receiving feedback well, and leading with joy!
Great Worship Leaders & Musicians…
Walk on stage like you own it! You've done the preparation, now have fun!
Smile. Show confidence. Be confident in who God has created you to be and why you're there. Don't try to be somebody else.
Prepare for distractions. People may do things like walk in late, text on their cell phones, and talk with each other.
Show people that you care about them. Believe that the message you are going to give will, in some way, help the attenders grow in their relationship with Christ.
Pray. Nothing will prepare your heart for being on stage like time in prayer.
Worship is as important as the message. People connect differently to music than they do the spoken word, so treat this time like the sacred space it is for many attendees.
Be prepared. Be prepared. Be prepared. Like anything else in life, good preparation usually pays off.
Have fun! Lead with Joy. We are leading people in singing songs about our loving God who wants to be with us! How awesome is that!?
Minimize distractions by dressing appropriately on stage. We can communicate excellence and care for those we lead by the clothing choices we make on stage. That's why we dress modestly and avoid graphic t-shirts with controversial messages.

M32-Q
This is how we control our in-ear monitors. You will use your phone to connect to the soundboard to adjust what you hear through your headphones. Feel free to bring your own headphones (with the classic headphone jack!) or use the pairs provided by the church.
The changes you make in the app are made on the soundboard and do not reset when you disconnect, so your phone will only need to remain connected to the soundboard if you're making changes.
