Our Mission
To help everyday people learn how to become Jesus followers.
As an audio engineer at Local Vineyard Church, you help carry out this mission by making sure the sound is clear and balanced during service, helping everyone hear the message about Jesus. When the sound is good, it’s easier for people to focus on worship and the sermon. In this way, your work allows others to connect with Jesus and grow in their faith. Your technical skills are a vital part of creating an environment where people can learn to follow Jesus.
Our Vision
To help people be with Jesus, become like Jesus, and do the stuff Jesus did.
If you're serving as an audio engineer for the production team, here’s how you can live out this vision:
1. Be with Jesus: This means staying connected to Jesus, even while you're behind the soundboard. Pray before you start, asking Jesus to guide your hands and ears so that the music and message can touch people’s hearts.
2. Become like Jesus: Jesus cared about people, and as an audio engineer, you can show that same care by making sure everything sounds just right. When you help create a space where everyone can hear clearly, you’re making it easier for them to connect with Jesus.
3. Do the stuff Jesus did: Jesus served others, and in your role, you do the same by helping the worship team and speakers sound their best. By doing this, you’re helping others experience God’s presence and love, just like Jesus did.
In short, as an audio engineer, you’re not just behind the scenes—you’re part of helping people meet Jesus, grow to be like Him, and share His love with others.
An Audio Engineer is important for making sure that everyone at church has a great experience by keeping the sound clear, balanced, and free of technical issues, allowing the congregation to focus on the message and music without distractions.
