The Advanced EKG Elective is a two‑week, resident‑led experience designed to deepen expertise in ECG interpretation for senior EM residents. Through advanced cases from Mattu & Brady Volume 2, structured modules, and guided mentorship, participants will learn STEMI equivalents, toxicologic ECG changes, electrolyte derangment findigns, fascicular blocks, paced rhythms, and high-risk arrhythmias vital to emergency care.

Dr. Matt Allison Meeting: 30-minute session during elective
Resident presents 5 ECGs deemed interesting
Instructor presents 10 advanced ECGs for discussion
Random review of 10–15 ECGs from ED stack
Mini quiz (10 ECGs) covering rhythm, intervals, ischemia
