Students will research the topic of gender and understand how it is used in our society. They will look at social constructs and the feminine and masculine sterotypes.

Students examine the way that colors became associated with certain genders. They will also look at how some jobs have historically been associated with a specific gender

Students in groups will research the case study of Mahsa Amini and the current protests in Iran. They will see how those actions have led to global protests and a renewed discussion on gender equality in Iran.

Students in groups will research and promote a famous female from modern day or history. Students will choose someone meaningful to their group. By studying about a famous female, they can present them to the class in a way that others may otherwise not be familiar with.
