We have learned that water is versatile, and it exists everywhere around us. From the water we drink to the water we can swim in, humans have put in time, money, and energy into keeping our waters clean. Water sustains life, so it is crucial that we focus on water conservation.
Human bodies are roughly 60-75% water by weight. Water conservation is like keeping our waters healthy, and the health of our water directly affects us. Imagine yourself drinking dirty, polluted water. How would that affect your health? Fresh water is necessary for us to lead healthy, long lives.
Concerningly, the world's fresh water supply has been steadily depleting. We are running out of fresh water! Though it is beyond the scope of this project, you can learn more about this troubling development in these two articles: Article 1 and Article 2.
Maybe you are inspired to becoming a water conservation advocate. My hope is that you take this project experience with you to do great things for our planet, our shared home. Take care of the Earth, and the Earth will take care of you.
