There are various problems in urbanistics:  despite many articles on this topic  sometimes it is hard to read due to difference in the language and terminology used. 

Mathematics has always been serving as universal language for these problems. 

What are other problems? 

1. From some classical literature it is no details on concrete optimisation problems

2. Literature may become old quite quickly.
