Summer School Age Care Runs from July 2nd until first week of September before school begins the following week.
Summer care is reserved for siblings of toddlers and preschoolers within our center. Families are asked to give notice by May 1 of that year if they do not plan to attend over the summer months so we can offer those spaces to other families and allow the registered children to return back in the new school year.
Our second location, Kentville After-School Program (KASP) is also a licensed center offering school age summer care. Applications can be made directly through the website link below.
$31.95/day to a maximum of 9.5 hours per day*. Fees includes an afternoon snack
(Government Fee Reduction is $10/day = $21.95 daily fee. Government Subsidy is then reduced from $21.95/day)
Children are to bring a packed morning snack and lunch on these days that follow the same nut free policy as the school
Fees include afternoon snack and most field trips**
*additional late fees apply after 9.5 hours and/or late pick up after 5:30 pm.
5 "late" fee times, per our policy, results in dismissal from our centre.
**Small fees may be requested to participate in larger field trips, typically $5-$10/child to cover additional fun activities
Children enrolled at Little Pumpkins School Age Summer Care will need to bring a packed morning snack and a packed lunch that follows the nut free policy.
Afternoon snack is provided that includes 2 food groups.
If you would like to request an alternative menu, please contact Juli or Stephanie to discuss. We accommodate all food choices such as Vegan, Hindu, vegetarian, as well as food allergies and intolerances.
