Little Pumpkins Inc- Early Learning Centre offers Before School care to all children starting at 6:30 am until the Kings County Academy Bus arrives up to a maximum of 10 children per day. Drop in spots available dependent on the number of daily enrolled children- please contact us for more information.
Morning care does not run on planned inservice days or on unexpected closures such as snow days.
After -School care at Little Pumpkins Inc is reserved for siblings of preschoolers and toddlers enrolled at Little Pumpkins Inc. This is a reserved convenience for parents of multiple children to ease the stress at the end of the day.
We only have 10 spaces and they fill up quickly. Siblings are also able to transfer to our second site, Kentville After-School Program located at 10 Webster street Suite 001 & 002. Please see contact information directly below for more details.
The centre opens on all school closure days at 7:30am (unless otherwise advised). Any child enrolled in the afterschool program is auto counted for the day.
Daily, After-School Fee: $16.50
(Government Fee Reduction is $4.50/day = $12 daily fee. Government Subsidy is then reduced from $12/day)
Daily , morning care fee: $5.00
(Government Fee reduction is $3/day=$2 daily fee. Government Subsidy is then reduced from $2/day)
Daily, morning and after school care: $22.70
(Government Fee Reduction is $6/day =$16.70 daily fee. Governement subsidy is then reduced from $16.70/day)
Fees for after school and before & after school include afternoon snacks and most field trips**
**Small fees may be requested to participate in larger field trips, typically $5-$10/child to cover additional fun activities,
