Rules

By joining this group, you are agreeing to conduct yourself respectfully and to treat other members fairly. Remember that there are people attached to the usernames you’re interacting with and behave accordingly.

By participating within the group, you are affirming that you have read, understand, and will abide by the rules.

Rules are subject to change at any point in time.

Behavior & General

1. All DeviantArt rules apply.

2. Lirse-Domis is a PG-13 game; your content should adhere to this rule.

   1. Do not post NSFW (nude or sexual) content, photos, conversations, or topics.

   2. Blood and horror elements are allowed in moderation.

      1. If submitted to the group, they must have the proper DeviantArt filters.

3. All group submissions (art descriptions and literature) or conversations must be held in English. Our admins are an English-speaking team and most are not fluent in other languages.

4. If you have questions about the group, feel free to ask in the Discord chat, by noting the DeviantArt group (Lirse-Domis) or by commenting on the corresponding journals.

      1. See the Discord Rules near the bottom of this page.

      2. Use the #help channel on our server to get answers from admins, or ask in one of the general chats for answers from anyone online.

   2. Noting the group:

      1. Do not reply to your own note if you have not been replied to. This marks your note as read and is less likely to be seen by admins.

5. Direct Messaging, DeviantArt Chat or Notes to admins or staff is prohibited. Please note the Lirse-Domis group, or ask questions on the Help Desk or in the Discord. (See Discord rules below.)

   1. Admin and staff member personal accounts are not an appropriate place to bring questions, comments or concerns.

   2. Admins and staff should not feel obligated or pressured to work or respond.

6. If a user’s behavior or transgressions within other groups is brought to the admin team’s attention by another group’s owner, Lirse-Domis may honor bans held by other groups and the user will be removed from Lirse-Domis.

7. Misconduct can result in temporary bans or outright removal from the group.

Harassment Policy

Harassment of any sort is prohibited.

1. Harassment of Admins and Staff

   1. Admin and Staff work on a voluntary basis; do not rush them for results or ask about wait times.

   2. Do not ask for behind the scenes information.

   3. Asking or begging to sell or give free items, Lirse, etc. is prohibited.

   4. Do not ask for information on another member, information on another user’s ban, etc.

   5. Call-out posts will not be tolerated. (See DeviantArt’s Etiquette Policy, Prohibited Commentary)

2. Harassment of other members

3. Reporting Harassment

   1. Note the Lirse-Domis group with all the details. This includes full screenshots and links to any applicable comment threads accessible on DeviantArt.

4. If you do not feel comfortable noting the group or an admin is harassing you, you may note Azikeos or GeckoBark.

Lirse-Domis Official Assets and Literature

1. You may not claim the species Lirse, canonical locations or lore figures, or other unique concepts as your own.

2. Official imports and assets may not be posted to other websites or claimed as your own work.

3. You may not upload imports to your own account.

   1. You can draw personal references or page dolls for use on logs!

4. You may not use Lirse import images, official artwork, literature, or assets off-site in any manner, including as NFTs.

   2. 1. 1. No embedding, thumbnailing, or etc.

         2. Linking text back to sources is allowed.

         3. No uploading/embedding import images, import lines, official artwork, literature, or assets to toyhou.se, imgur, your DeviantArt gallery, Google Sites/Sheets/Documents or any other website.

         4. This will result in an official warning, ban, and/or a DMCA (Digital Millennium Copyright Act) takedown.

Imports and Designs

1. Official imports and art may not be posted to other websites or claimed as your own work.

2. You may not upload imports to your own account.

   1. You can draw personal references or page dolls for use on logs!

3. Do not give characters offensive or vulgar names.

4. Do not copy or trace another lirse’s designs, markings or items.

5. You may not buy a design and use its elements or markings on another lirse design without the original designer’s explicit written permission.

User Artwork and Literature

1. Pieces submitted to the group must be related to Lirse and be your own work or clearly stated to be gifts or commissions for others.

2. Copied or heavily traced pieces are ineligible for activities and SP.

   1. The use of references is allowed and welcomed.

      1. References must be linked in the deviation’s description.

3. Photos may not be used in place of illustrated backgrounds.

4. Official imports, assets, art and literature may not be used in your work. This includes:

   1. Splicing

   2. Frankensteining

   3. Photo Manipulations

Breeding Rules

1. The owner must track their lirse’s breeding slots.

   1. Overbreeding or other slot issues can result in a temporary ban from breeding, selling slots, or the group.

2. In the case of split slots, define the deal in private and clearly label the distribution of the clutch in the breeding comment form.

   1. Example) Litter specifications: Basil gets first pick.

3. Lirse must be of Student level or higher in order to breed.

   1. You may not sell slots to or attempt to breed Novices.

   2. Breeding requests may not be posted before the lirse has passed their Siethe’s First Teachings and have a Lirse Nest applied to their import.

4. You may post five breedings a month. Records of monthly uses are kept HERE.

5. Slots you have purchased or been gifted cannot be traded, sold, or regifted unless the original permission allows this.

   1. The group will not enforce deadlines or “must be used by” dates.

6. Once you give permission, you may not rescind it.

   1. The person who received the permission may give the slot back by commenting on the permission slip.

7. The group may force write a Permission Slip if the buyer has contacted the seller and has not received a response after a set amount of time. This rule is situational.

   1. Lirse-Domis cannot enforce sales deals without documentation.

8. New owners must honor previously written slots.

9. Writing slot permissions for “unlimited breedings” or “until x outcome” is not allowed. A set amount of slots must be specified.

Sales

1. Do not take advantage of less knowledgeable members in sales and trades.

2. When selling a lirse, make sure that the new owner is aware of all past deals regarding the lirse’s slots.

   1. Overbreeding or other slot issues can result in a temporary ban for the user responsible from breeding, selling slots, or the group.

3. Lirse-Domis cannot enforce sales deals without documentation.

4. Advertisements submitted to the group must be relevant to the group.

5. Remove completed sales journals and advertisements from group folders to avoid clutter.

6. PayPal is the only digital payments platform allowed for purchases. Other services like Venmo, Ko-fi, etc. do not have Buyers Protection. Using the Goods & Services option in PayPal gives you protection against scams or deals that fall through.

7. PayPal and Real Currency Deals

   2. 1. 1. Funds should always be sent through Goods & Services (never Friends & Family) so you may file a dispute with Paypal if a deal falls through.

         2. PayPal disputes are up to the buyers and sellers. Lirse-Domis is not responsible for compensation on a user’s behalf.

         3. If buying or selling with real currency, be aware that you must follow your local tax laws.

         4. If your PayPal account is frozen for any reason, you will not be able to buy or sell for real currency within the group.

8. Selling a Genotype

   1. Clutch owner must respond to the breeding comment to transfer a genotype.

   2. Split clutches must be split between the litter’s two owners prior to selling or transferring the genos to another user.

   3. When posting an advertisement, the genotype’s proof link must be visible for buyers to see the seller owns the genotype.

   4. Any deals concerning “take this geno to X rank or specialty” are not enforceable by the group and you confirm you are taking deals such as these at your own risk.

9. Lirse-Domis has a set minimum USD price of $5 for art and literature within the group.

   1. If anything is sold, the base conversion rate is $5 = 1 AR/etc.

   2. SC to USD prices may fluctuate within the group and are not policed as minimum Activity Roll/etc prices are.

Exploits and Loopholes

1. Cheating and taking advantage of loopholes is prohibited.

   1. Violations may result in either a temporary or permanent ban depending on severity and length of time.

2. Exploits and loopholes must be reported to the group.

   1. If a user reports an exploit or loophole after knowingly having taken advantage of said exploit or loophole, the user may be banned either temporarily or permanently depending on severity and length of time.

3. Under no circumstances may you circumvent any group submission limits by using both your main account and side account. This includes but is not limited to:

   2. 1. 1. Daily group submission limits.

         2. Monthly Breeding and Import Approval limits.

         3. Event entries.

         4. Collaborations between people. (Ie. If one partner does not own a lirse, that partner cannot submit to the group for the collaboration to be rolled for.)

Discord Rules

1. All above rules apply.

2. Topics must be kept lighthearted and PG-13. Moderators and Admins may ask for any topic to be changed or moved to DMs, even if not explicitly on the lists below.

3. Do not fight or argue in public areas. Disputes should be settled in private.

4. Do not spam or troll.

   1. Do not spam advertisements.

5. Read the rules channel and the rules pinned in each channel. Some rules may be listed on this page only but still apply to the Discord.

6. Under no circumstances may you share any identifying photographs, images, or information including but not limited to:

   1. Names

   2. Faces

   3. Addresses

   4. Phone numbers

   5. Location more specific than your state/providence/etc.

7. Do not post NSFW pictures or talk about NSFW topics.

8. Under no circumstances may you discuss or make conversation of (including, but not limited to):

   1. Politics

   2. Religion

   3. Drugs and other illegal substances

   4. Racist, sexual, homophobic, or hateful topics.

   5. Detailed medical histories and/or surgeries. (Detailed bodily functions/gore, bodily fluids, etc. fall under this category.)

9. Topics concerning other ARPGs is allowed, however:

   2. 1. 1. The topic should not span several days, this server is based around Lirse-Domis.

         2. Bad mouthing other ARPGs is not allowed.

         3. Recruitment for other ARPGs is not allowed.

10. Art and journals submitted to the group must be relevant to the group.

    2. 1. 1. Advertisements must be related to Lirse. Ads not related to Lirse will be deleted.

11. Images must be posted in #image-posting for the sake of data conservation.

12. Pet images can go in the pet channel, art in art-share, and miscellaneous images in image-posting.

    1. As stated above, you may not share identifying photographs, consenting adult or not. All faces must be cut or blurred out.

13. #Help

    1. This channel is for questions about existing game elements and rules.

    2. Only Admins and Chat Moderators may answer questions.

    3. Do not bump questions if it has been less than 24 hours. Messages such as “waiting,” “...,” or such will result in your message being deleted.

    4. Do not ping admins to answer your question. When someone who knows the answer is available, a response will be given.

    5. Discussion is prohibited and must be taken to General. This channel is for questions and answers only.

    6. Comments in the form of questions or suggestions is prohibited. Suggestions must be placed in the Suggestions Box linked on the front page of the Lirse-Domis DeviantArt group.

    7. Pre-vetting designs, colors, markings, if a lirse is shown enough, or asking if something will pass in any portion of the group is prohibited. You may ask other members what they think in General or the channel related to your question (lirse-art, import-designs, etc.)

    8. Design corrections or other corrections clarification must be either replied to the admin comment on DeviantArt or noted to the Lirse-Domis DeviantArt group. These corrections require the specific admin to respond and possibly speak with the department manager and will not be allowed in Discord.

    9. Feedback and something being wrong on a guide are not allowed in this channel and must use the appropriate Feedback and Minor Errors Channel.

14. Feedback Channels

    1. Discussion is prohibited and must be taken to General. This channel is for Feedback only. Feedback must be constructive.

    2. Suggestions for topics are not allowed in the channel. Feedback is your view if something works or does not work. Suggestions must be posted to the Suggestions Box linked on the front page of the Lirse-Domis DeviantArt group so your suggestions may be easily found and not lost in other users’ feedback as chat moves quickly and is not read back by every single person. (Suggestions are loved, but Discord is not the appropriate place.)

    3. Be respectful. Any messages stating “I hate this,” “that looks terrible,” or related messages are unacceptable and will be deleted with an issued formal warning. Real people take time out of their lives to work on these features and no one wants hurt feelings.

    4. If there are specific questions asked by Admins for feedback on a function or topic, please try to clearly label and answer every question to the best of your ability.

    5. If there is a form pinned, it is required to be used.

15. Minor Errors

    1. Discord reports are not reviewed as often as the preferred notes to the Lirse-Domis DeviantArt group. As such you may find these reports are not fixed as quickly.

    2. Errors such as a mishap in a bank redeem comment or other admin comment in the group must be noted to the Lirse-Domis DeviantArt group and will not be handled in the Discord server.

    3. Discussion is prohibited as it adds pressure to make admins work, unintended or not. Channel history is not accessible to members to prevent this.

    4. You must use the form in the pinned comments.

    5. Suggestions on how to clarify wording is allowed.

    6. Suggestions on allowing or disallowing a rule is prohibited.

    7. Suggestions on additional rules must be made in the Suggestions Box linked on the front of the Lirse-Domis DeviantArt group.

Bans and Offenses

1. For less serious offenses, verbal warnings will be given. If you receive three verbal warnings and continue the behavior, you will be temporarily muted from the server or blocked from submitting to the group for up to a week.

2. For more serious offenses, you will receive one warning before temporary muting or blocking.

3. Being permanently banned from the group is a last measure for repeated broken rules or grave misconduct such as fraudulent sales or hateful behavior.

4. People who are permanently banned may not participate, trade, sell or use any aspect of the group. This includes import transfers.

   1. 1. 1. All items, imports, genos and slots are revoked by the group Lirse-Domis and may not be traded, sold, or gifted away.

5. People who are suspended or temporarily banned may not participate in the portions of the group listed in the ban note.

6. Any attempt to circumvent a suspension or ban will result in a longer, more severe suspension or ban.

7. If you are found to be attempting to circumvent a temporary ban, the ban may become a permanent ban.

8. People who are suspended or banned must note Kaelums-Voice in the case of reminding the team of the un-ban at the end date of the ban, to work out details pertaining to the ban, or proof required from the ban note.

9. If someone is banned or suspended, the Lirse-Domis group is not responsible for real currency spent in or on the game of Lirse-Domis.

   1. 1. 1. Lirse-Domis will not issue refunds on behalf of members or from official sales. Lirse-Domis is not a pay-to-play game and is not responsible for real currency spent.
